Get Involved with the WMAA

The Western Mustangs Athletic Alumni, (WMAA) is seeking new board and committee members to engage diverse views and help shape the athletic alumni experience and athletics at Western. We are looking for former Western Mustangs athletes who would like to make a difference.
Have you been involved with boards and/or committees of other organizations? Are you passionate about athletics at Western? Do you want to enhance the experience of Western athletic alumni and Western athletes? If yes, we want you!
We specifically welcome applications from individuals in the following under-represented groups: Black, Indigenous, People of Colour and LBGQT2S+.
The term of office for the board is two years beginning in September 2022. WMAA board members will attend approximately five board meetings each year, as well as participate in one or more of the board’s committees either as a committee member or committee chair. Board attendance can be virtual, which permits participation from anywhere in the world. Committees include:
- Nominating
- Governance
- Finance
- Grants
- Executive
- Events
- Hall of Fame Selection
- Metras Museum
