Graduating from Western University with a Kinesiology degree (2019) and a Master's degree from Ivey Business School in International Business (2021), Nicole has since turned a passion project into a full-time business. While on the Western Rowing team, Nicole struggled with her hair getting in the way during training which inspired her to create Hairstrong, a brand that provides high-quality, durable hair accessories for long hair. Since graduating, the brand has been seen on the world-wide stage at multiple Olympics including the most recent 2024 Paris Games, professional sporting events, and has become one of the go-to products that people use when they wear their hair up when they want less headaches, less hair damage, and a more reliable custom-hold.

Since gaining traction in the fitness space, this is also a great product for anyone working long shifts for work and need their hair up like healthcare workers, first-responders, military personnel, and hospitality workers.
