Living in Saugeen for two years was an amazing experience. I'm an introvert and I was so lucky to be paired with an outgoing roommate. We spent many evenings crammed into one room hanging out with 10 or more people in a room. I can't imagine what it is like this year with social distancing. Even with a roommate and friends, I was often homesick. I hope that you're finding ways to be social and to make friends. University and living away from home for the first time is stressful. Make sure that you take time to relax and to take the experiences in. Be brave and try things that scare you a little. Call or text a friend when you need a pick me up. It's okay to ask for help because this is a freaking weird year. Enjoy your time at Western! Take care and stay safe.
