I had the privilege of being a Medway Monk in 1962 until I graduated. Christmas exams were really just midterms in my day so you folks have it a lot tougher with all these half courses. The really tough exams were in spring which were in MAY. Windows were open and one could hear kids behind the residence shouting and playing.
During a pandemic be thankful you are not retired and have something constructive to do e.g. study like blazes! We retired folks read a lot and 'walk the block', cook, and just hope for the best. I wish you luck in your courses. I too am studying entomology just for fun so I know your pain.
