Split work studying for exams into sections and be specific. I prefer writing it on paper so that I could cross it off when done, making you feel accomplished. Then give yourself a specific amount of time to study each section. This helps to keep you focused to get all of the work covered. Try to keep to the schedule but make notes on areas of difficulty that you can ask for help on from classmates, friends, TA's or professors. I always found a cup of hot chocolate helped stay on task!
