Hello from Vancouver! For those of you far from home, we're sending love and hugs from Western Canada! We are so proud of you for the hard work you are doing this term, and I promise there is a payoff in the end for the time spent now on your schoolwork. Take time to build friendships this year, these last a lifetime. Respect each other enough to wear a mask and practice social distancing until we can get hold of this virus. This is a small inconvenience that won't last forever. If you can't make it home for the holiday, as in the case for my daughter in Halifax, please know that those at home miss you, and while we want you to be home, we would rather you be safe and avoid travel if you can.
