I know this really challenging time of year is made so much more difficult this year by all of the pressures brought on by COVID. My mother was famous for saying, "this too shall pass dear". And she was right! All of the challenges do pass; they do settle. Even the really big ones don't last forever. Please know that you are not alone, and that no matter how stressed, despairing, or afraid, you might feel, none of what you are going through now will last forever. And don't ever doubt that you matter. Your thoughts matter. Your feelings matter. You matter! Hold your thoughts & feelings, and those of your peers, with as much kindness & compassion as you can muster. Even though I only know some of you, I'm holding all of you in my thoughts.
