New app connects talent and business

Alumna Erika Mozes, BA'00, and her partner Josh Karam, recently founded Hyr, a new app that connects hospitality employers and employees. The pair were featured recently in the Financial Post's 'Entrepreneur' section, Yahoo Finance, Notable, and in Alleywatch.

Hyr’s innovative mobile platform hyper-efficiently connect traditional companies – like restaurants and bars – with independent labor to fill hourly paid shift work, on demand. Based in New York City, with a small business development team in Toronto, Hyr started out with 100 workers and three companies, and now has 1,500 workers and more than 100 businesses.
