Speaker bio:

Brendon Samuels is a PhD candidate in the Department of Biology at Western. Brendon works out of the Advanced Facility for Avian Research where he studies solutions for preventing bird-window collisions. Brendon acts as the Sustainability Coordinator at the Society of Graduate Students (SOGS) at Western. He is the coordinator of Bird Friendly London, a grassroots community group he founded to further bird conservation efforts in London. Brendon also serves as Chair of the City of London Environmental Stewardship and Action Community Advisory Committee. Brendon is passionate about conserving birds and nature and inspiring others to participate in solutions for the biodiversity crisis.
