Indigenous Alumni Chapter
Western Alumni, in partnership with the Office of Indigenous Initiatives, is pleased to launch the Indigenous Alumni Chapter (IAC). The IAC aims to create a network where Indigenous alumni and current students achieve greater success through stronger connections with one another and with the broader Western community.
The IAC is committed to adding value to the lives of all alumni by engaging the community of graduates and celebrating alumni success throughout Turtle Island. The IAC also aims to help nurture an indigenizing and decolonizing environment that is inclusive and free from oppressive values and racism by making related recommendations to the university and advising the Alumni Association's Board of Directors on Indigenous alumni engagement issues and opportunities.
