Daisy Gao, MEd’16
Western was my first home upon arriving in Canada, where I developed lasting and meaningful friendships. I was captivated by the school's vibrant atmosphere and the unity displayed by everyone at Western. I'm excited for the opportunity to connect with both current students and alumni of Western, contributing to the growth of the alumni network. Serving as an alumni ambassador is a way for me to give back to my alma mater, a place that has profoundly influenced my life. I wholeheartedly believe in the value of education and fostering a strong sense of community among alumni. This role allows me to facilitate connections, share my experiences, and support Western’s continued success.
Interests: Travel, spending time with family and friends, spiritual growth, trying out different cuisines, learning about other people’s stories

Kyra Mackenzie, BA’16

I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to help and connect with Western alumni in Toronto.
Interests: Health and wellness, dancing, group fitness, traveling, community events, swimming, painting and sketching
