With a community of over 150 alumni across the Greater Bay Area, Western's presence in South China continues to grow. Our network includes over 80 graduates in Guangzhou and 70 in neighbouring Shenzhen, with the cities just over an hour apart.
We're actively planning engaging events to strengthen connections between alumni and their alma mater. Past gatherings have included professional networking opportunities and cultural celebrations like Canada Day and Western Day festivities.

My first year in my home country of China was a struggle as my personal and professional network was mostly in Canada. Being an alumni ambassador is a wonderful opportunity for me to build a network in Shanghai and grow the alumni network in China for students and alumni to connect and establish themselves here.
