has been elected Vice President of the Alberta Teachers’ Association after four years as President of Calgary Catholic Teachers.
joined the Sisters of St. Joseph in 2025 for a new career following 19 years working with King’s University College.
was recognized as a winner of ApplyBoard’s 2024 International Alumni Award of Impact program. The program recognizes former international students who embody resilience, innovation, leadership and generosity and includes a one-time $1,000 scholarship in each winner’s name at the institution they graduated from.
passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 50. She was a passionate early childhood educator and will be missed by her friends and family.
was named on the 100 Top Women to Watch of 2024 from Canada International Black Women Excellence at the Black Pearls Gala.
published their first book Authentic Collaboration: A Bridge to Meaningful Connection in 2023. The book is about developing healthier relationships with yourself, others and the Earth.
