Remembering Rob Stewart, BSc'01

The Western community mourns the loss of award-winning wildlife photographer, filmmaker, conservationist and educator Rob Stewart, BSc'01. His family confimed his body was found in the ocean on February 3 after he disappeared four days earlier while diving in the Florida Keys.

In 2013, Stewart shared his compelling passion for animals, wildlife, and humanity in a TEDxWesternU talk about making the planet a better place for all who live here. His book Save the Humans was excerpted in the Winter 2013 issue of the Alumni Gazette.
