Hong Kong Advisory Council
The Hong Kong Advisory Council of Western University convenes volunteers to strengthen our global engagement and impact in Hong Kong.
The Council's mandate, according to Western's Global Engagement Plan, is anchored around four key themes:
- Expand Western's global reach
- Champion global citizenship
- Amplify global research impact
- Build capacity for global success
Council members serve as volunteers, advocates and philanthropic leaders to advance the university's strategic vision by building community among alumni.
Get Involved
Council’s Priorities:
- Strengthen alumni engagement and networks in Hong Kong on behalf of the university.
- Support student engagement in the areas of student mobility and recruitment.
- Amplify Western’s impact with wider networks to increase international presence and reputation.
- Contribute and connect others at a level of personal comfort; help identify and engage alumni and donors.
